tire: 90% street / 10% dirt

I would like to know what the Group recommends as replacements. 90% of my riding (A15) is street/highway. I consider the stock Dunlops to be 50/50. Vernon

I recommend the Avon Gripster for the type of riding you mention. Steve A11

Avon Gripsters are good street tires, but squirrely off-road if it gets wet. I've also ridden the Micheling T-66s on a Funduro and they worked surprisingly well in the dirt. Great street tires, but probably pricey. I like to run more aggressive tires so my dirt riding is more fun. My KLR is currently shod with Pirelli MT-70s, which are good all-arounders but don't last very long. __Arden Kysely A11 "Mr. K"

I removed my windshield... another benefit other than your head no longer being in the turbulent air is that it did away with the high speed weave I had. Jeff

The Gripsters (Avon AM24) worked well for me on long trip with some rough, unpaved sections.---PHW
