fork springs??

Post by hownowbc@hotmail.com » Tue Jul 24, 2001 12:51 am

Anyone know if there is any difference between the fork springs listed on MAWonline and the ones in the dual-star catalog (other than $30)? I don't know if there is a standard progressive fork spring and a "Larry Roeseler" design. A.$57.95 Progressive 30/45 Fork Springs Pair #111128 Fits:87-97 may cut stock spacer B. 20-98102 KLR 650 PROGRESSIVE FORK SPRINGS $84.95 PAIR Thanks, Kevin 01' KLR

The part number I recently got from Progressive's web site on their Application Chart is 11-1151. I bought my last set of Progressive springs (for the Concours) at Cycle Depot for $48.00 (+ fair shipping). They are on the web at www.cycledepot.net but the springs are hard to find, easier just to call, they're very nice. HTH, Les Whidbey Island, WA KLR 650 A2

Good question - I had the same thought as Dennis Kirk also has Progressive Springs for ~$60. I checked the Progressive Suspension Web site and only found one listing for the springs - all are Roesler- I am betting they are the same. The MSRP was listed at $84.95, so I guess the lower price is roughly 30% discount. God Bless the information age! Jeff 1993 A7 1950 miles (no, there is no zero missing.)
