klr wheels?

Post by G. Meyer » Wed May 23, 2001 4:13 pm

I'm pricing out KLR wheels, complete front & back with rear sprocket. I'm thinking of a larger rear sprocket for off-road/trails etc. Any good sources? I checked Dual Star for new OEM pull-offs, they didn't have any. Thought they did awhile back? Thanks, Glen Meyer- A13 Post Falls, (North) Idaho USA [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]

Wasn't it just last week that someone (was it Jim Sherlock?) posted a second ad trying to sell a set of KLR wheels with new tires and a spare chain, including sprockets? I think one of the sprockets was a 45? or 46? It seemed like a deal, I wanted to go for, but being on partial disability I had to forego the opportunity.

It was Jim Jackson who posted awhile back. Extra rims for me in this price range would be a huge luxury at this time. He Wrote: ____________ Wednesday, May 16, 2001 1:15 AM Hey folks, One final pitch for the complete set of tires and rims I've got along with all associated hardware. I have approximatly $1,900.00 invested in them but I won't be using them and am trying to round up the cash for a small boat. Therefore I'm offering them for $800.00 or best offer. That price includes an extra rear rim that is usable. The front has a new Kenda 270 and the rear has a Chen Shin. They also have 14/45 sprockets and new masterlink chain. If anyone is interested but you don't want to lay out that many beans without seeing what you're buying, I'll ship them off to Fred and he'll have them at Moab. Anyone interested? I've also got the Spec II cycle tire balancer mentioned in Gino's article on the web site. The price I paid was $250.00 and I'll take $150.00. Thanks for your patience, I won't post this stuff again. You forgot to mention the lovely colors, and that fact that it one of the most powerful riding vibrators on the market. It will soon star in it's own porn movie entitled, "The Big Green Dildo Does the Sierra Club" -- bierdo monahanwb@... wrote:
