replacement rear turn signals

Post by monahanwb@yahoo.com » Tue May 08, 2001 9:04 pm

There are some inexpensive replacement turn signals for the rear of the KLR, about the exact equals of the stock units. My pal James, who recently got a 89 KLR and failed to heed my advice regarding torquing the cam cover screws, finally got the helicoils in and now is asking how to get some correct turn signals for his bike (I don't blame him, the flush mount things just are not visible to other motorists, who need all the help they can get). I know there are some ?Bikemaster? brand identical markers, does anyone know the model or have them for sale, Fred? Bill in California

replacement rear turn signals

Post by John Lyon » Tue May 08, 2001 11:16 pm

Bill: Dennis Kirk has some OEM knock offs made by K&S Technologies Inc (not inexpensive in my book). They are listed for the 87 to 98 KL650A and KLR650. The part numbers are: Left Front: 21-718 $24.99 Right Front: None Listed (weird) Left Rear: 21-720 $24.99 Right Rear: 21-719 $24.99 Replacement Lens: 21-716 $3.99 Hope this helps, John
