Me too. 10' and 16' flatbed, 10' covered trailers and an orange grove to camp in. Complete machine shop and welding. No parts dealers near, but less than 10 miles to a landfill if worse comes to worse. Saint Cloud, FL (Orlando area) Sorry, no vacationers. Don't want to start that sort of shit with my relatives. -- bierdo 407-892-6543 407-694-0933 Andy Cohen wrote:

I wasn't going to post my number to the list but what the hell. KLR owners have better things to do than call people they don't know and breathe heavy into the phone - or something. Home - 949-215-7944 Cell - 949-636-3138 I live in south Orange County (CA). I don't own a trailer but I have a car with a Class II hitch and tie-downs. I have a garage and a small assortment of tools worthy of moto-wrenching. Write these numbers down and put them in your wallet! When your bike breaks down on the Main Divide next week, you'll thank me! RM

Me too. I've got a little (unused) garage space, basic tools and futon bed/couch. I live in Albuquerque, NM--at the crossroads of I-25 and I-40, which I try to avoid. Call me at (505) 296-4052 or (505) 841-7152 (work). Gary Cade Andy Cohen wrote:

Hi List, I'm not Rick, but I did buy a new 2001 BMW F-650GS DAKAR last week. I test drove the demo. they had and it ran fine, no surging, no mid-range rpm missing, and no stalling at the stoplights. I specifically asked the salesperson if all their bikes had the latest fixes and upgrades to which he replied "yes." Well, you guessed it the bike they sold me has the stumbling problem around 3,000 rpm. I kinda feel like I was duped in buying this bike. Do I have the right to expect my bike to run as well as the demo? If I would have got to ride the bike they were going to sell me, I certainly would not have taken delivery of a bike with a problem. Maybe this particular bike did not get the upgrades because it is an early model, manufacture date is 0800. Maybe this bike slipped through the cracks. To be fair, I'm returning the bike the dealer to give them a chance to fix the problem. If they can't, there is going to be a BIG PROBLEM!
