I need a 160 Main jet to fit the KLR carb.If anybody had any Ideas where I can find it I would be intrested.I have recently did the airbox mod and also the carb mod.All I had to go back in the carb was a 150 the directions call for a 160.The proformance differnce even with the 150 are very noticable. Thanks Bob in Bama

Hey Bob, The first place I'd check for a 160 main for my 40mm Keihin CV carb is your friendly Harley-Davidson dealer... tell them you need it for your cousin's Sportster ;-) 160 = 1.6mm = 0.062992" A 1/16" (0.0625") drill bit could be used to carefully 'hand drill' your 'main' to a '160'... (use a 'pin vise' to hold the drill bit) Phil A-15 Live Oak, FL

Your solution seems to suggest there's a constant for measuring jet size, but I thought stock carb jet #'s are not compatible with DJ carb jet #'s. Is this wrong, or does one use standard measuring and the other not? Rich

Hello from a new member in B.C Canada. I am looking at buying a 2000 KLR650C-4, but am having much difficulty finding information on the specific differences between the A and C models. Any help available oh great KLR guru's? thanks so much.
