Hmm, we're at about 50 degrees, and sunny. I might have to haul out of here soon and head home. Rode the bike in this morning and it was cold as hell. It was nice and sunning in my neighborhood, so I put on the shades and hopped on the bike. But down in the valley, it was in the thirties, and foggy as hell. I actually had ice on my visor from the wet fog this morning. Opened up the visor so I could see, and my shades got frost on them! But now its beeeuuutiful, so I get my reward for freezing my a** off this morning. :^) Ed Duvall, WA Oh yeah, no mini skirts, just lots of curvy roads.

Gary northern California. don't get the wrong idea, though, it's not like this all the time. Last two weekends been wet wet wet. Cold too. But you know, you have to make hay while the sun shines. Cheers.

Go directly to your doctor office and get some Zoloft. On the return trip find a nice lady. You'll feel lots better. You could put her on the bike to test the suspension indoors. You'd have fun!

Ed, consider yourself quite lucky. the short miniskirts on the college women here today are just a dangerous road hazard. I almost fell off the bike when one bent over into the trunk of her car on the return trip. You know, to reach something on the furthermost inside part of the trunk. Looking for her school books or something. You're not missing anything. Ciao Smilin Willie, the California version

Radio Shack sells a similar item to aerostich, but simpler & cheaper. $5.99 with 6 led readouts for various voltages. In case this url doesn't come up, it's called 'Vehicle Alternator & Battery Tester' Cat.#: 22-112 http://www.radioshack.com/product.asp?c ... G&category% 5Fname=CTLG%5F008%5F006%5F000%5F000&product%5Fid=22%2D112
