ufo handguards with bark busters

Post by Gregory D. Pink » Mon Feb 19, 2001 7:40 am

Howdy. I've mounted a set of Bark busters on my KLR but can't figure out how to mount the UFO handguards to the busters. They came with a pack of hardware with no instructions. Does anyone have a photo with these mounted or suggestions? TIA Greg Pink - Tampa, FL www.pinkman.org gpink@...

If they are like my Cycra guards, simply tape the new plastic to the bark busters and drill new holes in the appropriate spots. Then attach the plastic with the supplied screws. Usually, for some odd reason, the holes on the new plastic guards do not match up with existing holes on the bark busters necessitating new hole in either the plastic or the aluminum. There are some exceptions. It seems to me that the Maier plastic guards do line up so you don't have to drill additional holes. John F. [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]

Want dirt cheap ear plugs, kevlar glove liners ($3 pr) and virtually everything else in the world? Get a copy of the Lab Safety catalog. It is almost 2800 pages long and has just about everything ever made relating to safety or whatever. Fascinating reading! Phone 800 356-0783 to get the catalog. Be sure to mention your company name. They also have the catalog on CDROM for those who don't need an exceptionally large door stop or for those who want to save a whole lot of trees or for those living in smaller homes. John F.
