Hi, Steve. I too will be at RTR but taking my KLR650 to ride the old ore roads within the park. My wife and I as well as another couple from ( I think ) New Mexico with a KLR650 and a KLR250 will be staying up in the Basin. That makes it a lot closer than Lajitas. I guess that I will motor over on Sat night for the dinner. If you bring your KLR, we would love to have you ride with us. ( Our wives will not be riding) . We are leaving on Wed. to stop in San Antonio and then mossy on to Marathon and the Gage Hotel for Thursday night then into the park on Friday and head home on Monday. Hope to see you out there, Terry Brigham, Rockport, Texas

klr top end parts

The A7 is back and running with over 300 miles since it left the shop. After some long talks with the service manager and a few phone calls, the bike was fixed. A starter motor and starter motor clutch amongst other things were to blame. I have been left with the a used top end with approximately 19K on it. It is missing the left exhaust cam cap (the root of the problem), but has all of the associated gaskets and mounting hardware. The cams, valves, shims, plug, etc. are all there. It is a little large for a paper wight, but makes an excellent door stop. Anyone interested? Contact me off the list. -Adam ________________________________________________________________ GET INTERNET ACCESS FROM JUNO! Juno offers FREE or PREMIUM Internet access for less! Join Juno today!
