It's official. Got verification this morning. I'm the ninth entrant so according to the regulations regarding number assignments (in the order in which applications are received with some numbers reserved for past Alcan winners) I will be number 9 since there arent any past winners in cycle class...unless the numbers are assigned regardless of car/bike classification. It's be cool to be #9. Engine, engine, number 9 From the NY transit line. Head'n to Alaska on his trusty steed, With a backpack full of all his needs. 5000 miles of biking fun. Won't be back til the Alcan's done. dat brooklyn bum BIG THANKS to Skip for convincing the Alcan to have a cycle class in the first place and for agreeing to partner up with a true rookie. I won't let you down
