Hey Listers, I am following up on a post made about a month ago regarding a ride starting in Corona, CA and heading up the North Main Divide road through the Cleveland NF over Satiago Peak and ending off Ortega Hwy with a loop back.  I believe the individuals first name was Jim who proposed this but I cannot locate the email.  Is the ride still on and if so, where and when are we meeting?????   If I do not hear back from the list regarding the originally posted ride, I will be riding the Cleveland NF on Monday if anyone else wants to join me for the first riding day of the new year! Planned on posting this earlier this week, but got busy. Corona - Lake Elsinore Ride on Jan 1 On January 1, I'll be riding from Corona to Lake Elsinore, maybe continuing to the Wildomar OHV area further south, or riding along the Ortega Highway. The Main Divide Road through the Cleveland National Forest is an easy dirt road, and should give some nice views if the recent weather holds up. Unless anyone has any other suggestions, I propose we meet at 9:00 AM January 1 at the intersection of Ontario and Lincoln in Corona (from 91 freeway: exit Lincoln, go south 2 miles; from I-15, exit Ontario, go west 3.5 miles). You need a "Forest Adventure Pass" in order to "park" in the forest; I think this might only be a problem at the OHV area, if we hung out there a while and ate lunch. In my expereience, only the cars and trucks are checked there, and short stops on a motorcycle in the rest of the forest does not constitute "parking". If you want one, annual passes are $30, day passes are $5, and can be bought at most sporting goods stores. Post replies here or email me off-list and we'll get any other details settled. I'll post a message on Sunday with the final plan. Jim Clark
