Hi Gang.. I just put my down payment on a KLR650-A. I've been lurking around the list off and on for a year or so - ever since I spent 2 days on a friends KLR650. I knew I'd have one soon.... Vital Stats Age: 36 Married: at least for now.... Cash: Barely Previous Bikes: '81 CB900C - good bike, soft motor '83 VF750 Interceptor - I liked this one alot '78 GL1000 - ok.. this one was a lemon In a good year, our "not too tightly wrapped" group of motorcycle enthusiasts will each average about 10000 miles, and I'm looking forward to putting some big mileage on the KLR. So.. if any of you travel through (or anywhere near) southern Alberta, and would like some riding company, let me know. We have been known to go almost anywhere on a whim.. BTW, there's some great riding here in Alberta, and in neighboring BC (where I grew up), and anyone paid in US money will find it quite affordable to travel here. (except for fuel!) With any luck, I'll have the bike next week - just in time for -15F and snow! So what happened to Global Warming, and where can I get some? Have a great New Year Bud Haycock Lethbridge, Alberta

Here's hoping that our intellectual property on the LIST will not be violated. I think when we signed up on egroups it all meant nothing anyway. So, in honor of violations, let me pose a New Year's Poem, that will help anyone who thinks they've been violated here: Oh Please, Senor Egroups, I have a wonderful Copyright plan. When I see you I wish, with all my heart, You would violate me in the vilest way you can. -Written by a girl named Violet Fireball
