I got my brand new 2001 KLR today!!! I love it, only got a chance to put 80 miles on it before i couldnt feel various body parts anymore (due to the cold)!. I love it! everything except the break inperiod! haha. Any way, Thank you to everyone who gave me advice on security. Right now, all i have is Kryptonite barbed wire, and a tarp with half a dozen bungee cords. I think this is great for now. I live in military housing, and Big crime isnt too bad, all i have to worry about is kids and vandals. I did try to get the wife to let me bring it in the house, and i almost had to sleep out there with the bike for even thinking that! haha. Oh well, cant wait to get out there and really ride.
