OJ, the KLR is slated to be as dead as Nicole Simpson. There's always a chance that if enough good souls such as yourself make their voices heard that Kawasaki will find a way around the emission requirements and continue to produce the KLR! Even if Mother Kawi doesn't head our cries all is not lost. The KLR is just too ubiquitous a model to disappear from the landscape in the near future. There will still be plenty of accessories and support for our beloved _used_ bikes for years to come. Hiro A. Watanabe - let your voice be heard!

This floats around every year. They were also rumored to not be doing a Connie this year either and that has turned out to also be wrong. Who knows, maybe one of these years it might be true. Also, I just got back on list since taking a break at the end of June and was wondering if I was planning to ride trails through soon to be closed BLM land and circumstances forced me to run SJ oil, what would be the best kind of gun to carry? : > I read somewhere that Kawasaki will no longer make the VENERABLE KLR after > 2001............ sumthin' 'bout emisions too tuff or something....... does > anyone know about this? if its true then I must take action!! > > OJ > New Orleans Louisiana > 2001 > 6000+ miles > 2.5 months > Iron Butt contestant.... hopefully......... > _________________________________________________________________________ > Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com > > Share information about yourself, create your own public profile at > http://profiles.msn.com > > Visit the KLR650 archives at > http://www.listquest.com/lq/search.html?ln=klr650 > Support Dual Sport News... dsneditor@... > Let's keep this list SPAM free! > > Visit our site at http://www.egroups.com/group/DSN_klr650 > To unsubscribe from this group, send an email to: > DSN_klr650-unsubscribe@egroups.com
