I have a set of Road gear Eurotec, jacket and pants. Runs about $00+ for the set. Nicely armored, waterproof. Bought it for street but should be good for all but really hot stuff. Nice hip pads, back protector.>On Sat, 30 Sep 2000 18:33:17 -0000, D.J. Rogers wrote: > > Try checking out Teknic Gear.______________________

klr650 vs. klx650c
Hi Vernon,
I own a '96 KLX650R, the dirt model, it has a dual sport conversion
kit on it making it street legal. The C model differs in that its got
all the street legal stuff from the factory, lights, electric start,
etc.
I did a lot of research into the KLR and the KLX, ended up with the
KLX because one became available at a good price before I could find
a KLR. I think either bike would make a great dual sport. I love the
KLX though.
You can find lots of good info on comparisons between the bikes on
this list by searching the archives, search on "klx" and you should
bet some good posts returned. You might also consider checking out
the KLX list on eGroups: http://www.egroups.com/group/KLX650
And I have never heard of the oil line cracking on the KLX, the KLX
seems pretty reliable from what I'm hearing on the list. I know mine
has been ridden pretty hard this year and it hasn't given me any
problems. Drop me a line if you want to discuss further.
Regards,
Ed
