utah get-together 2001 nklr

The dates for the 2001 Utah Get-Together have been set for June 2-5, 2001. This year I will be working with David Patterson in joining the Utah Get_together with the Trans Alp Rally. The plan is for the Get-Together to start on Saturday June 2 and go until Tuesday June 5. The 6th will be an off-road travel day to the Tour de Elk Trans Alp rally in Marble, CO which starts on June 7 and goes through the 10th. In the next few days I will set up the reservations at the Canyonlands Campground, Redstone Inn and Big Horn lodge. As some of you know, we ran into a bit of a problem with the BLM last year and I will be working with them regarding permits. In light of this, do not expect too much information on the web or list so as not to get in between a rock and a hardplace as we did last year. Reg fees have not been set yet either as I wait to see what happens with the permit issue. Finally, as always, I will need help in organizing this event. In the past I have relied heavily on Fred, but this year he is planning on building a new shop and I don't want to burden him with too much organizational stuff. Also, I would like to pass the baton of the Get-Together to someone who wants to organize this event in 2002, but in keeping with the philosophy that it is a gathering of enthusiasts and not a commercial rally.
