Hello All,
It's time to change the air filter and i was considering going with
a K&N. Does the K&N require any other modifications such as
increasing the gas mixture? Or is it a simple swap?
thanks,

RE: Noise: One thing I discovered on the A9 was the exhaust pipe guard (first narrow part - not fat tail pipe, held on with two screws- right side of engine) Although it may seem like it is tight, it does vibrate with some harmonics which can be heard (a tin sound) at certain RPM, engine loads. I played with the screws making sure they were tight and also changed the screws to one with bigger heads. I stuck a screw drive behind it and heard the noise go away. you may try washers or lightly pry on it in spots to change its shape slightly. Anyway try playing with this guard as it can contribute to noise. my two cents worth. Todd Kuss A9 Chaska MN kusst@...> > mid acceleration?
