dual star stuff

Post by rennrivers@earthlink.net » Wed Sep 13, 2000 9:52 pm

I apologize for the double post ( the first one naught but Subject ) , I was turned into a newt, well, I got better. Anyway, Dual Star sent me the Lowering Links and locking axle nuts I had ordered, installed them yesterday, and now it's time for Deep Thoughts. The L. Links, for me, make the bike much more stable. The level of control I gained over the bike far outweighs the loss in ground clearance. I intend on pairing the Links with the new Dual Star short shock, I will let you know how that works out, if it dosn't, I'll go with the shock only. The locking axle nuts seem to be a must, pulling the front cotter pin was a bummer, and I was at home making the change, it would have been sorely displeasing to have to do it in the rain, snow, hot sun, sticks etc. The rear pin came out fine though. Later. Renn A15 (Rocinante)
