klr sighting on hwy 330 on sat. 9th

Hey list, I saw a Y2K KLR650 pulled over in a turnout on HWY 330 south of Running Springs about 2 pm Saturday. I had the family in the car, but as the guy had the shroud pulled off the radiator, I thought I would see if he needed a hand. After telling my brother in law to shut up, I turned around, but by the time I got back to where he was, he had split. I know that I would appreciate someone stopping if my bike took a crap.... Was it someone on the list? Why do you have your shroud off the bike? CA Stu <-- Roving Cal Posse mechanic

Does anyone have an idea for an easy way of replacing the locknuts on the screws which hold the sides of the radiator plastic shrouds. Not having 5" long quadruple joint digits I'm finding it a bit of a chore! Nick aka Gromit A13
