My 1975 Honda XL350. Black and red gas tank with the Honda wing logo. That motor was bullet proof and best of all it was a dual sp...purpose motorbike. Sold it in a pinch to buy a plane ticket from L.A. to Chi-town. Don't ask why. Darrel A12 'avenger'

My Dad couldn't believe the 1st bike he bought me when I was 10, a Honda Trail 70, now sells for $2000 in good shape. I'll bet he didn't pay over $200 for mine. I still lament over my '83 650 Silverwing, sold it for $1400. I would like to have any of the 2 strokes back I had...what I really wish I had back though is the body that could race a 2 stroke all day and still get up the next day ready to do it again. I had a brand new 1982 XL500R my dad bought me in 1986. It was the 1st year of the Prolink suspension. That was a great bike however I was only 16 at the time and did not having a drivers license yet. It kinda got me into a lot of trouble as I rode on the street to get to the dirt. Dave A13
