[dsn_klr650] the last word in a group name klr
Attachments : Say, there's an idea, we could be an international independant group ----- Original Message ----- From: carmic7@...> To: DSN_klr650@egroups.com> Sent: Saturday, September 02, 2000 11:02 Subject: [DSN_klr650] The last word in a group name KLR
Ok list,
I am tired of the bickering and goofyness, and someone just asked me if I
belong to a club or am I an "independent"
What about calling ourselves KLR yes, just that
Kawasaki lone riders
Klr Long Range
Or just let that logo that I just downloaded with the bike on it from BOTHA
display our pride I would love to say to someone, I belong to the KLR club,
Simple HUH?
I don't know about you guys but I am the only person in my group with a KLR.
Maybe KLIC Klr International Club
Let's do something and represent ourselves proudly to the rest of the riders
and we will no longer be "independents"
Maybe?

Howsabout simply "KLR List"? Call it what it is?
Logo in the shape of a "Tee" with 'list' vertical under the L, (and
less prominent than KLR).
I always ask KLRistas if they're "on the KLR List". It's a natural,
no? Also it implies that there is ***one KLR list*** an official
list - which might provide some market security for DSN_klr650.
(especially when some yahoo tries to start a new KLR list)
Tom
PS: I guess y'all didn't like KawTippers.....(too close to home?)

I like KLIC!!!
That's what we are a Klic. Alot do not want to be a part of us and we look
at everything differently. And since I'm stuck in Germany for the next few
years I'm International.
Good one,
Van

Well, I just went to the garage and found out that I had misplaced
the turn signal tabs. I put them in a safe place so I wouldn't lose
them. Good work on my part, huh? After I found them, everything
made sense and went together beautifully. Anyone out there
considering Tim's racks, just do it!!
Thanks to all of those who may have responded to my earlier post.
