John, I had a similar problem a couple of months ago. As far as I can tell, it had something to do with the vent on the gas cap not venting correctly. I had just gone on reserve and it was near 100 degrees that day. My guess is that it built too much pressure in the tank and was not allowing the fuel to flow. Once I filled up the tank and rode the next day under similar conditions, there was no problem. Paul A13 Dallas, Tx "John Magee" wrote:

Yeah, that sounds highly plausible. Speaking of which, I'm inches away from having that wind tunnel report on windscreens posted to the web. Hopefully it'll be done tomorrow.
