I have been to a few bike shops here in Canada in search of a jacket. They all carry Joe Rocket and little else. Are there any satisfied owners out there or is there a better alternative?

[dsn_klr650] tubes vs tubeless

Thing you tube guys need to remember is that you can (as I have) use a tube in a tubeless wheel/tire appication if, for instance, the wheel is bent. I'm still pushing for tubeless rims, especially on spoked-rim streeters. Pete the Streak

Check out Parker Brothers in Toronto. http://www.powersports.on.ca/ I bought my Teknic Mach One Jacket and Sprint pants there via mail order and am very satisfied with the service and the product. Check out the Teknic line at: http://www.teknicgear.com/ The Mach One and Sprint jackets look the same, but the Mach One has venting. They also come in other colors not listed on the website so be sure to ask. I rode 6500 k's through everything from torrential rain to blistering heat with no probs at all. I highly recommend this gear (and I'm damn picky). Cheers, D. GBG eh14
