P.S. Just to drag up some old dirt, I really do fail to see how anyone
can get the front wheel off without removing the front brake calipers.
The rim simply wont fit .. at least when I tried.

Don't know why anyone would want to do it ,but with the fender off and the
fork tubes rotated [caliper end outward] , the wheel can be removed without
removing the calipers. Getting it back in is the tough part as you need
extra hands! ......Didn't find it to save time.
