Joe,
We rode that area a week ago yesterday, which was between heat waves.
Beautiful country. The narrow paved roads out of Beardsley Res. were fun
but the relatively unused dirt roads after that were great. Wound up on
Hwy. 4, went east on Ebbet's Pass, rode over Monitor Pass and stayed at
Topaz Lake Resort--$54 for all three of us. I lost six dollars at the
casino, though.
