[dsn_klr650] e-mail prob? supertrapp ids
Hmmmmm... sent out about 4 messages to the group today and saw only two come
back. If this is a repost please excuse...
I've got my SuperTrapp IDS Quiet (I think that's what it is) mounted and
don't want to rejet till winter so I don't miss summer riding. I also don't
want to run too lean. So how many discs should I put on to have the same
restriction as a stock muffler?
Thanks,
Jim Jackson II

generally about 4...I'd try 4 to 6 and see what feels best. On my KLR it didn't seem to make much difference...with my DR the difference is profound... Kurt> want to run too lean. So how many discs should I put on to have the same > restriction as a stock muffler?

engine rebuilds
Why bother if it doesn't need it? How much of an engine rebuild do
you think it needs? Top end, bottom end or both? Tranny screwed
up? You just KNOW it'll compound itself into a huge expensive job
don't you? If you just gotta tinker, why not get a rubik's cube or
something.
FWIW
