No, but it would be nice. It has 2 camchains. One chain from the crank runs a sprocket about halfway up, which runs another chain that goes up into the head that runs the cams. The KLX head design is more compact and I suspect the cam retaining system is more rigid. The very bent exhaust port on the KLX couldn't help performance, however.
