ids2 bodywork?

Hi List, just installed the IDS2 on my A12, all the pipe to pipe fits were perfect,very pleased as I had read that there were some problems before in this department. It seems however that the spacer that keeps the pipe away from the rear fender now keeps it very snug to the side panel. I took a quick test ride and think I'll have to shave off the rear trailing edge of the panel before it burns off.Has anyone on the List encountered this and what did you do? Thanks for any help.....cosmo
