Any good hardware store will have it. I think that "look" you get in auto parts stores is required for someone to get the job. There was an essay written by some ageing hippie titled "The Arrogance of Ignorance" which deals with that "look", as well as many other ego defense mechanisms that enable the challenged individual to retain his/her state of (ignorant) bliss but I won't bore you with any excerpts right now.
