It looks like I will have to pull the enricher out of the carb and check it
out, it does indeed seem sticky or stuck.
This is for sure one of those things that doesn't get any better on its own.
I've noticed several posts on cracked sleeves where the cable screws into
the carb. Also, there is information on loosening the carb boots on the DSN
article by Ron Lamantia so you can rotate the carb.
Since the nut retaining the sleeve looks difficult to get to, can anyone
tell me the simplest way to remove the enricher plunger without breaking the
sleeve? It looks like it's impossible to get a wrench on it, in the
position it's in. Any tips prior to my commencement on this repair would be
appreciated.
