Rode in to work today... Brought the heavy rain gear in case it is like yesterday (big storms) - I live in an area which has a 4 mile unmaintained forest road as one way out (short way to work) or a gravel road for 4 miles the other way (adds 10 miles total though) I started out that way in light of the heavy rain last night... but then I turned around. Telling myself I needed more practice in the mud, I went the short way. 4 slimy miles later (managed to keep the beast upright anyways) I was thinking (hmmm, should have worn something over my work pants) - Well, most of it dried by the time I got to work so I could just flake it off, but I don't think the janitors are real happy about my boots.... Unfortunately I don't see too many bikes today at work. Kudos to all who rode today come hell or high water! -Brian E. A14 Tijeras, NM
