[dsn_klr650] damage from bottoming out?

Post by Rob MacLeod » Fri Jul 14, 2000 12:17 pm

"My advice for this kinda thing is to remember that everyone does it, that there's absolutely no avoiding Murphy, and that you should read 'Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance' to get a good perspective on this kinda stuff..." I could not agree more! The best way to learn about your machine and yourself is to screw-up every now and then, it's a great way to stay humble and it's a great way to unclutter your mind and teach you to focus on the task at hand. I haven't read the Zen book but I bet I would enjoy it. Rob

Didn't Ted Simon say (in Jupiters Travels I think), that when everything is going perfectly you could intentionally run out of gas ? Ed Windsor Oh (Off to meet Ralph Hanson at Mid-Ohio)

I use www.onoffroad.com They offer 3% shipping on orders over $100 and have competitive prices. I received my tires 2 days after I placed my order. YMMV, John

Gonna buy a couple for my BMW road machine, some Michelin radials. I want to take advantage of the $40 rebate that's been coming 'round in the summer (MOA members). I don't see any du-spote tars on there, tho'. John M. Lyon, III _______________________________________________________ Say Bye to Slow Internet! http://www.home.com/xinbox/signup.html
