rear brake pedal adjustment

Has anyone adjusted their rear brake pedal? Mine feels like it is to low - the angle that I have to depress the pedal to engage the rear brake feels uncomfortably low. The owners manual doesn't mention a method to adjust the engagement angle but I noticed two little adjustment nuts on the rod connecting to the master cylinder that should do the trick.
