Cobra makes 2 different models, ISDE and 4Stroke. I had a 4Stroke model, and it is LOUD and adds good midrange power. The exhaust has a steel tapered cone that uses your existing pipe clamp and requires a new gaphite gasket ($15 dealer item). The tapered cone is where the power comes from. The can is aluminium, and will need to be repacked at around 3000 moderate use miles. If you are lucky, you can get 6000 miles out of it before the aluminium can bulges and bursts. I really liked the loud roar, my buddy on a Harley with Screaming eagle exhaust admits the KLR is louder. CAD\CAM Kenny A12
