I saw a documentary over the weekend regarding the
attrocities during the American struggle for
Independance. Nasty stuff.
Some "elite special force" from the USA came across
to my home town (Whitehaven) and tried to blow up the
harbour during the war but they didnt seem to mention
that.
Being a Brit I often sense that the hostility towards
us still remains during the 4th july weekend. Like
many wars and revolutions the general populace get
tarred and feathered with the brush of their rulers.
The monarchy in the UK at that time just about
alienated all the colonies. The then king didnt even
speak much english (first language was german)
Just remember we are not all B*r*t*rds just our
goverment and soccer supporters

Only kidding.....

silly person! Ah blow my nose at you, so-called "Arthur Keeeng"! You and
all your silly English Knnnnnnnn-ighuts!!!"
I couldn't resist, this is one of my favorite movies.

I had the side panel off of my KLR the other day and I noticed a sticker
stating that the minimum recomended octane was 91. Ever since first posting
the whatchoo runnin' question to the list I've been running 87 without any
knocking or pinging. Is this sticker a case of the old back-door politics of
vehicle manufacturers and oil companies or is there some other reason I
shouldn't be using anything lower than 91?
