[dsn_klr650] decal removal
Kevin
My bikes now black and silver because I took all the decals off the plastic
before tackling the tank. Many hours spent with sandpaper and a paint
learning curve. Turned out perfectly though. The BMWer's get a half wave in
before they realize it's a KLR.

Subject: [DSN_klr650] Decal Removal
Hello,
I removed the 650 decals a while back and was going to tackle the KLR
splash. A recent posting stated that they are covered in clear coat.
Is this a fact, cause if it is, I'll have to learn to live with it as
it doesn't justify a repaint.
Thanks,
Kevin Green

My computer crashed as I hit the post button, so this may be a repeat.
I bought some Ralley copies by Hebo, but the instructions were in
Spanish only. It looks pretty straight forward, but I'm not sure how
to
prep the grips. I've briefly searched the archives, but my link is so
slow that it became too painful. Any help out there? Thanks.
