skip's tank mod

Hey Skip, Just finished the first tank since your mod at Moab. I know its been weeks, but I can't seem to keep from putting miles on that ST1100. SO and I are riding up to Michigan for a family reunion on Friday. Anyway, with the mod I am getting about 35 extra miles before hitting reserve now. Filled it immediately after hitting reserve and a fill up is now 5.40 gallons as opposed to 4.75 before the mod. Thanks for your help at Moab. I just have to remember that there is no more "super secret" reserve. Also, don't worry about the gas can, it was just a $2 special at Walmart. Fred, you can keep it. I don't want it back. As for the rest of you lurkers, try Skip's mod (found in archives and back issue of DSN) and glean a few extra miles from you tank.
