[dsn_klr650] help, running hot

Post by Weaver, Mark » Mon Jun 26, 2000 12:42 pm

i'm not super experienced, but that doesn't sound all that hot. my bike pretty much lives at 3/4 hot this time of year, unless i'm on the freeway. for my 2 cents worth, i wouldn't worry about it. mw

women who love the klr

All- I feel that I have to share this story with all KLR owners... I was washing the mat of dead bugs off my KLR this Sunday after my Skyline Drive ride. Because I don't have a garage or a yard, I was out on the sidewalk in front of my friend's house (they let me use the garden hose if I am good). A woman walks up and "Hey, I really like your bike, can I come over and check it out?" "Sure!"...checking it out... "Wow, this is great bike, I love it! Much better looking than those racing bikes or those harleys"... "I really like it a lot, let me know if you ever want to sell it!" ... walks off. Well I was pretty floored. My girlfriend doesn't even like my KLR and I had figured that if she liked me, the KLR wouldn't be a stretch. I wonder if all women like the KLR but are simply too afraid to admit it ;) Anyone else had a KLR love-in experience? Zack 1991 KLR
