nklr: kissed the pavement

Post by Robb S » Mon Jun 12, 2000 7:35 am

Hello everyone, This is a friendly reminder to everyone to wear your gear. I got taken out on Friday on the way home from work by a lady running a red light. Bike is a little dinged up. I'm a little dinged up, torn rotator cuff, knee, etc...All the witnesses said I was lucky that was all that happened to me. Had my Arai full face on, now scratched. Was also wearing my Hein Gerick leather jacket. The officer that came to the scene was a fellow rider and was pleased to see me wearing my gear. He was really cool and brought all my gear to the Hospital for me and gave me a ride back to my bike so I could get home. Sorry to ramble. Any suggestions on how to check what is out of alignment on the rear of the bike? The wheel is not centered under the fender. Not sure if the swingarm is bent or the subframe. I am not sure of what points to measure things from fro an accurate measurement. The Chain looks somewhat straight from front to rear. Thanks Robb
