I have McAfee monitor ALL my incoming Email etc.. I bought the software after the first Happy99 scare... I keep it updated. After this message (just to be sure) I ran Liveupdate again, as it had been a couple weeks... Did another sweep... and my system is completely CLEAN! If anyone is going to receive a virus through this list it is me... and I have not. Cheers, Arne> Look out! We have another round of Happy99 on the list!

I'm a sysadmin by trade, just what he said...get an antivirus and frankly
do a weekly update. Lately the kiddies have been changing the .vbs worms
such as ILUVYOU almost daily so you really must keep up.
If you pay for one app, it should be an antivirus and stick with the majors
Norton, McAfee etc. that will update immediately.

Arne: I, too, have McAfee -- I've used it for several years -- and I update it every time I'm notified of changes as I was early this morning. There was also a virus this morning, coincidentally after my DAT file update. Perhaps it didn't go to every body on the list but it came concurrently with a posting from a lister, showed the lister as sender and was not addressed to me personally. Nor would there be any logical reason for the person to have me in their address book anyway. The virus was an attachment with a KLR-related name. Obviously, I deleted it (permanently, using McAffee) so I'm afraid I can't look at the header for more information. klr list meeting
Hello,
Can't we just find a central place in the US and meet there someday?
how many of us are there anyway?
maybe a camping trip in Nebraska or Kansas?
I'd love to have a group picture of all of us
