must be shared, embarrassment be damned

Listers, A friend of mine forwarded this to me and asked me to post it. He's obviously embarrassed at having been reduced to asking help of an advice columnist. The answer was so to the point and heartfelt however, and the problem discussed so pertinent to many of us, that he felt impelled to share this correspondence. Bogdan

Dear Drillbit, you are not alone. You've described a common dilemma that many of your fellow listers have written about. A young woman's self esteem is more fragile than the wings of a butterfly. Her young life is filled with anxiety from trying to protect it from mishap. That is why I believe you will be doing these girls a favor by stripping those silky wings as soon as possible. Only after they have sufficiently begged for your manliness should you oblige their propositions. Don't be concerned about your wife. Trust me, she will see the altruism in your actions and worship you like the shiny, bald God that you are. Even a Japanese cruiser would not stop the hordes of women from throwing themselves at your feet. All my love to you Bogwan. Dawn Rhodes, riding into the light.
