If that model follows standard Suzuki design practice it should have a large nut with conventional thread (righty-tighty, lefty-loosey) and a bend-over locking tab. Should come right off with some leverage - may have to get a piece of pipe to go over the handle you're using. If the chain is on it and the rear brake works, put `er in first gear and stand on the rear brake while you twist, otherwise its best to have a holder on the sprocket to prevent shock loads on the gear dogs inside from the impact tool - especially if you've a hand impact/hammer setup.
