Another in the long list of reasons for doing your own valves. This guy was trying to do the right thing. You don't have to be a certified dyslexic to practice dyslexia. I do this kind of thing when I'm tired. In my cab driving days I specifically remember driving up Madison Ave. in Manhattan. The customer said "East Side"; I promptly turned West. Bogdan

dang. that's weak. maybe i've just been to moab at the right time. i went once in october and once in april, both times for mountain biking. i really didn't see to many jeeper types, but perhaps it was just the wrong season. the ones i saw were perfectly nice, of course it was way off-road when i saw them. perhaps once you get far enough off the pavement, the law of natural selection kicks in. i've seen plenty of jeeps on the rubicon trail near tahoe, but almost no dorks. i think this is because you have to be a pretty serious off-roader to get through it with all the wheels still attached to your vehicle. still, it only takes a few jerks to spoil it for everyone. perhaps some self-policing vigilante justice would be in order. or maybe one should just avoid big festival type gatherings, and stick to low-key get-togethers with a few friends (a few meaning less than hundreds and hundreds). mw
