Iti's a fair enough deal, nothing out of the ordinary.
 
I like the Cheng Shin Maxxix 6006, they're better in dirt, but I'm sure there are plenty on the list who would disagree.

I liked mine and got very good mileage out of them...others have not... Kurt

I really like the stock Dunlop rear and have gotten over 5300 miles on mine. I ordered another one from Dualstar and will put it on soon. The stock Dunlops are a good street tire for dry roads, acceptable but not great for wet roads, and pretty good for moderate dirt and gravel use. Longevity of the tires seems to vary widely among riders. I'm on my third set, and have consistently gotten 6,000 miles out of the rears, but that seems to be at the high end of the range. Just about any tire represents a tradeoff between durability and grip on the street--the K750 has good grip on the street, and acceptable durability for me. YMMV (really). Dreas

WOW! What were you riding on, a belt sander? Mine was done at about 4500 miles... but it was a good tire. I'd call it a 60/40 tire - 40 being the dirt end of things. The only fault was the replacment price. With Dualstar that's not an issue. Cheers, Arne

Jumping in on the tire discussion.....     .........I got only about 3000 miles out of the stockers, and I believe I extended their lives by running about 30psi in rear, and about 26 psi in front.  It would have been less at the recommended 21/26.   Take some of the air out in the dirt...Streaky Pete may have done that, and Verle too.  Seems to me a little higher pressure extends tread life, and can compromise street traction a little bit too.  I don't start worrying about losing traction on pavement until the pressure is over 40.
