On the trip I was on in late Mar early April to the Mexico Copper
Canyon there were a mix of tires on different bikes. I had the stock
D-750 up front, so far I like this tire overall but slides in
anything
loose. I imnstalled a new rear Kenda 270 before the trip, this is a
agressive semi-knobby. Not much good for leaning thru corners at
speed
on pavement (call it the drifter) but a good adventure tire when you
want traction in the loose stuff, prolly good in the mud but it was
the dry season. I have 2700 miles on the rear and prolly will go a
total of 3500 mi. It does whine after it flattens a bit from wear but
with earplugs that is a little annoyance.
I agree the IRC 110 seems like a good all around tire and one of the
DR650 riders liked them on the trip. I still may try the Conti
twinduros that Vic was liking last year.
