A lot of us are looking for a street-legal ride the size of the XT225 with
the power of the KLR650. When I was a kid there was a guy at the local
Triumph shop in Baltimore (Boutwell's, 229 S. Broadway) who had shoehorned a
T100 twin into a Cub frame. Aside from the stock Cub brakes being woefully
lame, the little bugger weighed about 250 lbs, I could get my feet flat on
the ground with my ass an inch or two off the seat, and if it didn't have the
clearance to hop over a log, well, I could carry it on my shoulders. It was
street legal and the brakes would be easy to fix.

GMAC Insurance is the new name for National General Insurance, the company
that many of us use through the Rider Magazine plan. Rates are great but I
have yet to have a claim and test them.
