nklr: insurance company recommendations and\or warnings?

Post by EdB@onyx.com » Fri Apr 14, 2000 4:30 pm

Hi gang, Anyone have any advice on insurance companies? I called Progressive and got what I think is a competitive qoute from them. And they're recommended by the AMA, for what that's worth. Anyone dealing with Progressive? Anyone have any particularly bad experiences? (Note that I'm not really trying to start a rant thread, a simple "they stink" or "these guys have been pretty good" should do). Thanks, Ed Getting closer to landing a KLR or KLX Duvall, WA

I've had my KLR for a year now. I'm thinking about adding some additional goodies. I'd like some advice on what gives the biggest bang for the buck. I have all of Tim's stuff (rack, Givi's, radiator and reservoir protectors, and hwy pegs), a center stand, tank bag, and a skid plate. I ride 50/50, but nothing very technical (skid road/double track at best). What can't I live without and in what priority? I've considered MT-21s, prog fork springs and some other things, but I'd enjoy some advice from the list. Thanks in advance. M
