[dsn_klr650] bridgestone tire boycott

Post by Michael » Sat Apr 15, 2000 11:02 am

I'm sorry, but to the Bridgestone boycott, I've got to say "Give me a break." There are two sides to every story. Land use restrictions do concern me, but I've lived in Washington and Oregon for the past ten years. You don't have to look too far in any dirrection to find vast areas where the land has been raped, clear cut like a bad crew cut for as many miles as the eye can see. Preserving a little land here and there isn't the worst thing that ever happened, particularly when it was private land to begin with. Too much of this approach is just a hidden stab at the Clinton/Gore administration. If you want to hate them, hate away, but don't do it here. It isn't appropriate for this news group. That's all I'll say, because it clogs up the list. I'd had enough, so I picked this one to respond to. Besides, Bridgestone makes the best car tires . M Fred Hink wrote:
