Yeah that's what mine look like. Maybe they wear unevenly cause the piston pushes the inner pad. I've got 15k miles on mine but I don't use my rear brake much. You could go to a harder compound but that's supposed to be rough on the rotor. Bogdan> I notice that the rear brake pads on my A3 wear unevenly. It's pretty > significant. [dsn_klr650] rear brake pad wear question
I installed some pads on mine (rear) a few months ago and they have chirped
and squeaked since then. Can't figure out why. Guess I'll get some new ones
again (they were pads from an accessory place - I bought new ones for the
front from Kawasaki -for $35.00- and they are fine). Is it me or is it the
pads.

So you apply a lubricant (graphite) onto your brake pads. Hmmm......Yeah they would squeak less but do they stop as well? Hmmmm....In my experience, mostly BMW, the exhausts tighten much faster. Bogdan> Way to go Raamses! You're half way there. I'd loosen up the intakes one. > No good having them go tight on you.
