Okay - I called a local dealer today, and for about $6600 after tax and licence (at least if I got the tax and license thingy correct at 10% of the price) I and my son can each have a bike. This would be a '00 KLR650 (me), and a '00 XR70 (him). We now await the blessing of "She who must be obeyed." Wish us luck. If She says not yet, then I guess we'll just stick to riding our little Silverwing for now. At least we're in the wind. Scotto
